1/3/98 - Gershwin Marathon - You can order a fabulou cassette tape of
a live performance of the Complete Works for Piano and Orchestra
by George Gershwin. The performance was given on January 3, 1998 at
Maurice Abravanel Hall in Salt Lake City, Utah. The featured pianist
is Jeff Manookian with the Intermountain Classical Orchestra
conducted by Joel Rosenberg. This marathon concert is the only
time all four of these masterpieces have been presented in a single
concert. You can hear "I Got Rythm Variations" - "Rhapsody
in Blue" - "The Second Rhapsody" - and "Concerto
in F" in this stellar performance which can only be
